This is a photo that I had taken on my phone. I just discovered it yesterday. Ben and Pat are enjoying a square dance organized by Noella Crawford in Bryson. I believe it was around Christmas 2016. Sorry, it is not too clear, as it was taken with my old phone, and the lighting wasn't too good. But the memories and fun they enjoyed together are evident! RIP Ben.

I know that Violet relied a lot on Benny for any issues with her home and if there were any problems she would say " I'll call Benny ".
She had a small wooden rack for drying plastic bags which I thought Arno had made
until she said that Benny had made it.
Now that the rack is used regularly at our home we will have a memory keepsake.

My dear Pat - the news of Ben's passing hit me like a "Ton of Bricks" Saturday night at the Bryson QC last dance of the season. To-date, I continue to ache for your loss I'm sure it hit you hard. Ben & you I'm certain was a couple so idolized for the love we could all see the two of you certainly shared for each other - it was always a pleasure to see the two of you at the Bryson dances. Despite I never got to know Ben just seeing the love you both showed told me he was a man of principal & values.
