The Desabrais & Presley families,
Our most sincere condolences on the death of Ronnie, who will be sorely missed. His willingness to share his thoughts on various topics, including "The Canadians", will leave a gap in our lives.
We enjoyed his music, going back to the days of the 'Brysonaires' who provided the music at the old dance hall here at the Lake, and later at Lee's and Susan's parties.

To all members of the Desabrais familyI give you our most sincere Condolences, Ronnie was always such a happy person and always made the people that were fortunate enough to be around him feel happy also. Those that were fortunate enough to call him friend also knew how seriously he took Hockey! A lot of people may not know this but Ronnie gave me (Lorraine) and some of my friends guitar lessons, these were some of the more fun memories I have of Ronnie and they

So sorry to hear of your loss. I met Ronnie when he was dating his sweetheart Madeline.I, like many danced to his music and that of the Bryson Airs. In the last years,I would bump into him at the grocery store and we would chat.

I got to know Ronnie when I was about eleven years of age and grew up listening to and then dancing to his music.
Ronnie; Marcel and Claudette were all good friends of mine. It is sad to know that they are all gone.

He also played a mighty fine fiddle, guitar and called squares. He is now joined again with all the previous band members and his Madeline, who taught me how to square dance.
