Obituary of Donald New

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, in hospital,Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the age of 69 years old. Son of the late Ellis New and the late Violet Watson. Loving husband of Angela Binda. Cherished father of Donnie, Kirk, Jennifer (Dale Crackette), Sonia (Jason Miller) and Courtney (Ryan Desharnais). Brother of the late Richard, James “Wes”, (Donna), Harvey (Louella), Lorna VanMierlo (Ron), Doris New (Bubba), Elburn (Helen), Kathy Young (Frank), Margaret New-Lusk (Steve) and Roger (Diana). Special grandpa of Kayla, Kristy, Andrew, Emilie, Faith, Kyle, Brandon, Steven, Cody and great grandpa of 8 great children. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Donnie will be greatly missed by his little buddies of Angela’s daycare, his best friend Fred Deering and his loving dog Archie. Resting at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edwards Church, Bristol, Quebec on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Holyness Cemetery, Powassan, Ontario on Saturday, October 8, 2016. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.
