I had the great honor of picking tobacco for Don and his family in the summer of 1993. It was one of my life's great experiences, not so much due to the work as to the man I worked for. He was a force of nature, I've known no other like him. I'm saddened to hear of his passing, though it's been nearly 2 years. I can only hope that the sadness has faded and that Angela and the family can now focus on their many wonderful, colorful memories.

We will miss Don's daily visits to the flying field, especially his sense of humor.
We will for ever be grateful to Don for his generosity for letting us use the field to fly our R.C. planes.
