Dear Ruth, Connie, Susan and all your brothers. My mother and I are so sad to hear about the passing of your mom. She was the connection that kept us tied to home and we looked forward to her "letter" each week when The Equity arrived. I learned a great deal from your mom: how to welcome friends to your home (when we were small); how interesting everyday things could be if you knew how to communicate their stories well; and how to how to just keep on, in life or a game of cards: no matter what hand you were dealt.
