I have often wondered about Margaret and was saddened to find this memorial. She meant everything to my father Dr. EE Judd. She was a loving, giving woman and I always admired her.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I loved Mrs.Bretzlaff all throughout school and saw her a few times when I returned to Shawville. She was a remarkable wonderful woman who taught us so well. She will be missed.

Bob, Jane and family,
I have been so fortunate to have met your mom. She was a sweet and loving person who treated everyone with kindness and caring. We were saddened to hear of your mother's passing. You can be very proud of her legacy as a devoted educator as she had a positive influence on so many young people. Our children all remember her as a wonderful teacher - strict but fair and they knew she truly cared about their performance (and sometimes behavior).We all hope to be remembered with as much respect & compassion.

How fondly so many of us will remember Mrs. Bretzlaff. She was a wonderful teacher who believed in what we could do and accomplish and always encouraged each student who came across her path to believe that the sky was the limit.
