Dear Nanny,
How lucky I am to have had the honour of discovering you not only through the eyes of a child but well into my adulthood. To watch you giggle with both my boys. To watch you adopt my husband as your own grandson (and to boss him better than I ever could). I see how hard you loved your family. Your life’s work was to provide a space for family and friends to gather. The cottage will always be our home away from home.
