Sending my most heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Evelyn Sackrider ( Edie (Beulah and Ernest Smith’s Daughter) & Al Grace’s Daughter Evelyn). I called Velma’s Number twice last evening and the reply was “This number is no longer in service”. Then I felt something had happened and went onto Google and typed in Velma Coles, Shawville and knew then what happened. Velma a lovely lady, my Mom’s Cousin was 96 same as my Mom at her passing and Velma passed away on my Mom and Dad’s Wedding Day, June 26th ♥️ I, Evelyn, was in Stockholm Sweden for my 80th Birthday present and took my Daughter Lisa. My condolences. Bless her soul in Heaven ♥️

Our heartfelt condolences to the Coles family for their loss. Velma was the kindest most caring person. She also possessed many skills, one of which was her wisedom. She was the matriarch of this large and extended family.Bobby has many memories of farm life during his summers spent on the Coles farm,the huge garden,the horse rides and of course haying season. Velma was always very welcoming and a great cook.May her memories live on.

Dear Judy, Steve, George and Jean and families,
Deepest condolences to you all. Velma was a genuinely kind, caring and loving woman. A strong woman who endured the sickness and loss of two of her beloved children. No mother should ever have to deal with such loss but Velma did it in her strong, quiet way and let her faith give her comfort and guide her path. The first one on your doorstep when you needed support or a lending hand whether it be on a happy occasion or sad one. She could turn her hand to anything from cooking, baking, sewing, knitting or farm work just to name a few! I spent many afternoons in her home playing with Judy and Cindy growing up on a neighbouring farm. Velma has left us all with so many happy memories of times we were blessed to share with her. She will be greatly missed but has certainly earned her wings! Fly high and give Joan and Cindy a “gidday” from Bob and I.
