I met Ann Marie back in 1986 when I joined the CSU-CRR nurses. Ann Marie had a wealth of knowledge and was a great mentor to many. She was the epitome of a "nurse ". She was caring ,smart ,compassionate, empathic and always professional, just to name a few of her many attributes. She was always eager to switch out shifts if you ever needed a favor. She was also a proud mom and wife who loved her family dearly. Our nursing profession needs more people like Ann Marie. We lost a great nurse and a great lady the day she passed. My sincere condolences to her husband , her girls and the whole family. As you navigate the days and weeks ahead, may you find comfort in all your memories, and know that she made a difference in so many lives and was a well respected professional. God Bless

My sincere sympathy to Wilmer, Jennifer, Stephanie and your families. I do remember Ann Marie from school, church and CGIT. I did know that she became a nurse. It has been interesting to read about her successful career, her life from her neighbours and friends. I know as a family you have many cherished memories. May they help you as you celebrate Ann Marie's beautiful life. I plan to join you on Zoom for the service. Blessings to you.

Ann Marie was a special lady who was my sister’s closest friend for over 60 years. She was kind and caring with a wonderful sense of humour and complete devotion to her family and friends. Always there with quick humour, a kind word and a warm smile. You will be dearly missed sweet Ann Marie. Give Shirley a big hug for all of us. We love you xoxo

Wilmer, Jennifer, Stephanie and family,
Our heartfelt condolences on your loss. We couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Ann Marie was always smiling and never missed a beat keeping up with you on your daily walks. She was kind and caring and always took the time to ask how everyone else was doing, or what our kids were up to. We shared a few parenting laughs over the years and she always made me feel like I was doing a good job as a mom. She was always there to answer any "health" questions we had and to give her advice. When she spoke of her grandsons her eyes lit up - she was so proud of them and cherished her time spent with them. Our thoughts and prayers are will all of you, Ann Marie will never be forgotten. The world is a little less bright today without her.
Our deepest sympathy,
Joe, Ann-Marie, Francesco, Maureen and Joe jr. (Martello)

We were so sorry to learn about Anne Marie. I was one of her early Sunday School teachers, she often babysat our children, we attended your wedding, and played cards with her Mom and Dad.
We hope the good memories help to ease your pain. Our deepest sympathy to all the family.

Ann Marie was a dear and most caring friend that I met in the fall of 1965 as we entered nursing at Ottawa Civic Hospital. I enjoyed many times with Ann Marie - so numerous to list all those cherished times. Our coffee times at the bagel shop at Carlingwood when we were young moms on our days’ off comes to mind. I admired Ann Marie’s positivity and never heard her complain. You will be so missed dear friend.
Gord’s and my deepest sympathies go to you, Wilmer and your family.
Sincerely,
Sue and Gord

Serge and I send you our condolences. We have lost a long time friend and a colleague. Ann Marie was someone we admired for her steadfastness, courage and compassion for others. Never did we ever hear her complain. She and I shared not only a friendship but a professional bond. I have never forgotten the excellent nursing care she gave me after a long hospital stay after a car accident in the early 70's.
Thinking of you now with love and friendship
