From his extended family in Ottawa, we are deeply saddened with the passing of Jimmy. We first met Jimmy when David decided to marry our daughter Julie. On that first visit at Jimmy’s house we were warmly greeted by a soft spoken gentle man who noticeably was very fond of his daughter-in-law to be. Jimmy loved Julie’s like his own daughter and we were so blessed to know this. We admired Jimmy’s strength and loving devotion of taking care of Maureen and his mother. We have lost a good and decent person, a good friend and it’s really not fair to lose him at such a young age. However, we celebrate the life of Jimmy, and we know he is watching down from Heaven and that he is no longer suffering. Rest in peace my friend and watch over us.
God took you in his loving arms
He saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful
For He only takes the best
