I worked with him on Bryson council and he had strong opinions and they were all for the betterment of his cherished town and their people. His accomplishments were many. Al, was always friendly, courteous and wore a smile that will not be forgotten .

Deepest sympathy to Joan, Amber and Kerry. I have fond memories of countless week-long snowmobile trips with Al and many fishing trips including Antoine Lake. For many years our spring ritual was to catch red trout in local lakes, accessible only by Al's amphibious terra-jet. I fondly remember returning home late into the evening from one of these trips missing a front wheel assembly, and using Al sitting on the back fender to counter-balance the machine and giving orders. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Al.

I worked for Al during the summers of 99 and 2000 on the PPJ. He taught me the Al way of doing things, from changing wheel bearings to sharpening blades. I will always remember his trust in a young 18 year old guy like me, and the respect he commanded. He'll be missed.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Al Davis. Joan and family, I am so sorry for the loss of a great father, loving Husband and a man that enjoyed his life so much and always seems to have a big laugh for anything and everything that could wake anybody up and he was always smiling and joking. I always love going up to your place and visit you both when my Mom and Dad would visit you. It was always a great time. May Al rest in peace. Amen,

Joan, Amber and Kerry,
My deepest condolences. Al was always so kind to our family. I have so many great memories of Al.
We were more then neighbours, we were there for each other’s family. I still see your house key hanging in our cupboard and I can’t count the times I ran over As a kid to get our house Key when I was locked out. my dad and Al always enjoyed having a beer in the backyard chatting about the community as both of them had their community at heart. Probably where they planned fundraising ideas or new initiatives for sporting activities.
Although my father also left us 6 years ago and mom has moved away from Bryson, we always looked forward to the annual Christmas card from Al and Joan. I know this will continue.
You are all in our thoughts during these difficult times.

So many memories of this big tall man. Al was very involved in the community, a good mayor for the village of Bryson, a strong voice always defending his beliefs. I recently saw him outside of the hospital smoking his cigarette. He will be missed.
