Obituary of Sarah Kelleher (nee Gilchrist)
Sarah Kelleher, “Sally” (nee Gilchrist) age 90, was born April 3rd, 1929 in Dundee Scotland where she trained and worked as a midwife. She travelled to California, prior to making her way to Canada where she worked as a registered nurse. Sarah spent several years working at the Shawville Hospital. She enjoyed bingo, reading, and travelling. Sarah enjoyed many adventures with Raymond & Louise Maheral.
She is remembered as a fiercely independent woman, with a wicked sense of humour, who was at times stubborn and difficult. She loved french fries, ice cream and rarely missed Judge Judy or the Dr Oz Show.
She is predeceased by husband Raymond Kelleher and her son John. Mother of Jayne (Desmond), Raymond (Joanne) and Mary (Joe). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Virginia (Sasha), Patrick (Courtney), Katherine, Madisson & Noah as well as her great granddaughter Charlotte.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St-Anne Church, Calumet Island, Quebec on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery. Following the interment a light lunch will be served at the municipal hall. Donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
