I was so sorry to hear the news of Aunt Sally’s death and my very best wishes go to her family. Although it has been a long time since my cousin Tricia and I visited Calumet island, I have lovely memories and Aunt Sally was often in our conversations back home. My Mum (Nan) was clearly proud of her sister’s achievements and I recall stories of when Aunt Sally went down to London to do her ‘fevers’.

My condolences to all the family at this sad time. My mum,Edith, would often speak about her sister Sissy in Canada and the fun she had with all her family growing up in Lamb's Lane in Dundee.Mum was proud of Sissy's achievements.My last memory of meeting with Aunt Sally was here in Dundee when she visited with Ray and Louise. My mum and dad were there too and we shared lots of laughs and memories.

Jayne, Mary, and Raymond - My condolences to you and yours. I recall my last conversation with Aunt Sally last Fall. She called me at work to say that she was moving up country to live with Raymond and Joanne, that they had offered to look after her, and she was so very grateful for their kindness. She got quite emotional during our conversation, telling me that she really regrets not telling those she's loved how much they mean to her, and was sad about both my mom and John's passing. Sally told me how proud she was of all of her children and that they built great lives for themselves - she wished she had taken the time to tell all of her children how much she cared for them. I'm sure that mother's always feel that they don't do enough for their children. I will miss Sally. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
