My deepest sympathy to Randy's family and friends. It was a shock to hear of his passing. I came to know Randy over the years working at Canada Post. We didn't see each other very often once he moved to the Payroll section of Canada Post. But, on our occasional crossing of paths in the stairway, we would exchange quick "hellos" and stories. He always had a way of making people laugh. I will always remember him telling me about the "spitting tree". This was years ago. As Randy would leave the office each day, he would spit at the base of the tree outside the door. This was his way of leaving his work troubles at work and not bring them home with him. I often think of that when I leave the office at night and, in my mind, I spit on that tree too. Rest in peace Randy. You will never be forgotten.
