Obituary of Brenda Sharron Stevens (nee Brown)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday October 4th in her 73rd year. Dearly loved wife of Don Stevens for 50 years. Loving and cherished mom of Mark of San Francisco and Timothy and his wife Danielle of Whitby. Cherished Nana of Emilee, Connor and Charlie. Survived by her sister Wanda Holmes (late Jack) of Renfrew. Predeceased by her sisters Shirley Towell (late George), Joyce Richardson (Royce) and Wayne Brown (late Joan). Dear sister-in-law of Jack Stevens (Vivian), late Dorothy Alexander (Bob) and Ann Drisner (Les). Brenda will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, their families and many loyal customers who became like extended family during her hairdressing years. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held at Bethel Pentecostal on Friday, October 13 at 11 a.m. Interment Pentecostal Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Anglican Church Hall, 530 Main Street, Shawville, Quebec. In memory of Brenda, memorial donations to Pontiac Reception Centre Foundation, a favourite of hers, would be appreciated.
