Dear Cynthia,
No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest.

I do not know you, but I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. I happened to see this beautiful little face when I was looking for an obituary and couldn't help but read her story. As a mother myself, it brought tears to my eyes and I can't even begin to understand your pain after losing two of your children to this same disease. You now have two beautiful angels that are looking over you. Again my condolences to you and your family.

I know you through the HLH support group on Facebook. I have witnessed Maggies brave fight and your heroic work as her mother! As the mother of an HLH child, I want to say that I send my deepest most heartfelt prayers of gratitude to Maggie for her contribution toward the body of knowledge and research about HLH. I believe whole heartedly that her life and death will save thousands of other lives. I know your heart is breaking right now and I wish I could take that pain away. I followed this brave little girls journey from before she even took her First breath. My heart shattered that Friday night when I heard the news. I will never forget magnolia and the impact she had on me. She tought me to value life more, to love more but most of all cherish every moment here it's a gift not a right.
