Obituary of Louisa Dowe

Louisa passed away at Hull Hospital on Saturday August 19, 2017.

She is survived by her siblings Mabel Proulx (late Lorne), Robert (Denise), Gail Beaudoin (late André), Ronald (Rhonda), William (Dawn), foster sister Lisa McBride (John) & Monique Morrissette (Denis).  She is lovingly remembered by Cindy (Brad) & Richard Beaudoin, Christopher (Bonnie, Molly & Liam), Jonathan (Linda) & Matthew Dowe, Cory Thomas (Laura, Ethan, Owen & Emma), Wendy (Dwayne), Nicholas (Carly)  & Bradley Dowe, Ronnie Jr. (Tanya, Logan & Hayden), Graham (Sarah, Charlotte, Daniel & Hannah) & Colin Dowe,  Verena Dowe (Colton & Lilyan) & Evan Dowe , Michelle Marcil & Julien Villeneuve,  Steve & Sandra Morrissette.  Predeceased by her father Arthur Dowe, her mother Laura (Desabrais) Dowe and her brother Edward Dowe (Mae Bowes).

She was a teacher for over 40 years in Quyon, Chelsea and mainly in Hull at Pierre Elliot Trudeau School, where she retired.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She is fondly remembered by her nephews & nieces as “the best animal pancake maker” and chauffeur for many people. Funeral mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, St. John St, Quyon, Quebec on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 am. Family will receive condolences in the church for 1 hour prior to the service. Donations in Louisa’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Quyon,  St. Mary’s Cemetery, The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
