Obituary of Ella Romain (née Dagenais)

Décédée paisiblement à l’hôpital, Shawville, Québec le dimanche 13 août 2017 à l’âge de 74 ans. Fille de feu Ovila Dagenais et de feu Alma St-Pierre. Chère épouse de plus de 49 ans à Roy Romain. Mère spéciale de Natalie (Gérard Larivière). Mémère adorée de Myryam, France et Sarah. Précédée par sa sœur Viola (Archille Dubeau) et ses frères Royal, Roméo et Raymond ainsi que son épouse Géraldine. Ella sera manquée par sa belle-mère; Colette Dumouchel-Romain ainsi que ses belles-sœurs; Joyce et Dolorès. Elle laisse dans le deuil plusieurs nièces et neveux. Les visites auront lieu à la Maison Funéraire Hayes, 195 rue Principale, Fort-Coulonge, Québec le vendredi 18 août 2017 de 18h à 21h et samedi de 8h30 à 9h30. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée à l’église St-Jean l’Évangéliste, Campbell’s Bay, Québec le samedi 19 août 2017 à 10h. Inhumation au cimetière St. Jean l’Évangéliste. Des dons à la fondation de l’hôpital du Pontiac ou à la fondation du CLSC seraient appréciés.

Passed away peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Daughter of the late Ovila Dagenais and the late Alma St-Pierre. Dear wife of 49 years to Roy Romain. Special mom of Natalie (Gérard Larivière). Adored Memere of Myryam, France and Sarah. Predeceased by her sister Viola (Archille Dubeau) and her brothers Royal, Roméo, Raymond and his wife Géraldine. Ella will be missed by her mother-in-law Colette Dumouchel-Romain and also her sisters-in-law Joyce and Dolorès. She leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Hayes Funeral Home, 195 Principale Street, Fort-Coulonge, Quebec on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec at 10 a.m. Interment St. John’s the Evangelist Cemetery. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or the CLSC Foundation would be appreciated.
