I worked out of the Belleville office for Ontario Hydro Inspection and then ESA during the same era as Darwin and got to know him through various meetings and conferences. I am saddened by his passing and my thoughts are with his family at this time.

I was saddened to hear of Darwin's passing. Although I remember him mostly as a young boy while I grew up in Ladysmith, I was surprised to meet him one day a few years ago at Tim Horton's in Renfrew. Being the gentleman he was, he came over and introduced himself. We had a great chat, especially reminiscing about his dad, because I had worked with Freddie on his log truck when I was a teenager. Good memories.

My deepest Condolences in the loss of Darwin. I will always cherish our Moose hunting trips to Hornepaye we always had a great trip lots of fun and a lot of good memories. I never have met a more honest and sincere man and was proud to have him as a friend.When he spoke about his Family you could tell he was very proud.So very glad I was able to have a couple visits with him in June.
