Obituary of Ruth Desormeaux (nee Delarge)

With incredible sadness, we announce the passing of Ruth Desormeaux on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. A wonderful wife, mother, grandma and sister, she will be missed by many, including her husband Hugh and her daughters Shelley, Sherrie and Michelle. She was the dear, proud grandma of Maggie, Stefanie, Rhett, Rhoan, Matthew and Emily. Beloved sister of Sadie (Buzz) and Percy (Liz). Predeceased by her parents Russell and Lucy Mae, and her siblings Myles (Shirley), Wayne (Marilyn), Betty (Bob) and Boyne. Donations in Ruth’s name may be made to the SPCA or the Canadian Wildlife Fund. Special thanks to the Hematology team, Palliative Care team and nursing staff at 6 East and West at the Ottawa General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life to honour Ruth will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Renfrew Legion, 30 Raglan St. S, Renfrew, Ontario from 2-6 p.m. Please join Hugh, Shelley, Sherrie and Michelle and their families at this time.
