Obituary of Valentina Marinova

If you are looking for Valentina, the avid traveler, adventurer, and mother, please be advised, she has set off on her latest excursion. Destination: "The Moon!"

She is probably landscaping that rugged rock making it a little greener as we speak. Top of her favourite destinations was Disney World where she could comfortably let herself be the kid she was at heart. Her inner child was ever present and was able to find the light and humour in every situation. At our most recent family vacation to a vineyard, she proclaimed; “Life is better with just a little bit of booze!” (We didn't always agree, but on that we did!) She lived her life with love and care for others, a passion for travel, and above all, a mission to provide a better life for her three girls.  She was a brave and courageous fighter against her only enemy, cancer; and it was no match for this woman's spirit. When asked how she was doing, she would often respond in jest, “Still kicking!” - and boy, could she kick!   Her special brand of humour was undeniable. Valentina loved her family and friends unconditionally. She leaves behind a loving sister, Mariana, her three daughters (aka: gardeners in training), Antonia, Mirela and Ekaterina as well as her loving partner, Ian.
