Obituary of Michael Clive Finnigan

It is with deep sadness that we announce Mike’s passing on May 2, 2017, in Ottawa. A proud native of Shawville, Mike was a valued employee of Canada Post for over 25 years. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Cory Orr), grandson Carter, and granddaughter Mallory, all of Smith’s Falls; his parents, Marie and Frank Finnigan of Shawville; brothers Paul (Elizabeth), and Todd, of Ottawa; and sister Mary (Darlene), of Halifax, Nova Scotia; his nephews, Christopher (Lindsay), of Ottawa, and Tim (Mandy), and great nephew James, all of Toronto. There will be no visitation. A family celebration of his life will be held at his parents’ home, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery. Mike was loved and he will be missed. The family will appreciate donations on his behalf to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
