Obituary of Helen Atkinson (nee Poole)

Passed away peacefully at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec with her loving family at her side. Daughter of the late Leslie Poole and the late Lena St. Michel. Loving wife of the late Cyrus Atkinson of 60 years. Cherished mother of John (Linda), Ruth and Les (Monique). Precious nanny of Michael Hitz (Angela), Kristen Atkinson, Jonathan Hitz (Krystal), Greg Atkinson (Ashley) and Philip Atkinson (Jodi). Great nanny Helen to Ava and Parker Hitz, Braeden and Ashton Hitz and Sadie and Maizyn Atkinson. Sister of Melvin (Vera). Predeceased by her brothers Norman and Jackie. Helen will be sadly missed by her sister-in-laws Ann and Loma, and also many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Shawville United Church, 410 Main Street, Shawville, Quebec from 12p.m. until time of service at 2p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec.
