Obituary of Ruth Marie Racine (née Lemaire)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on February 28, 2017 at the age of 72. The cornerstone of her family and an integral part of the community, her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all those who have known and loved her. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Racine. Loving mother of Alanna (Brent Wickens), Aylmer, Tania (Kim Howard), Quyon and Adam (Laura McTiernan), Aylmer. Beloved Grandma of Emma, Hannah, Sam, Cale, Holly and Kieran. Special friend of Willard Smith. Loved daughter of Olive Lemaire. Dearest sister of Dwight (Mary Anne), Arnold (Kathy), Foster (Dawn), Gordie, and Ronnie (Lisa). Predeceased by father Leo and brother John. Dearest sister-in-law of Linda (Doug), Guy (Sheila) and Roy. Fondly remembered by many cherished nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and neighbours. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec, on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass friends are invited to a reception at the Bryson Lions Hall from 12 to 2 pm. A heartfelt thanks to the physicians, nurses and staff of the Pontiac Community Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital (Montreal) for their wonderful care. In memoriam donations to the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Fund or the Bryson Golden Age Club would be greatly appreciated. “Some people move our souls to dance.
