Obituary of Joan Ann Brown (nee Coles)

Peacefully, in Shawville Hospital Long Term Care, on January 2, 2017 in her 64th year. Beloved wife of Wayne Brown. Loving mother of Kaara (Richard Richardson) and Krista (Kyle Fraser). Cherished Nanny Joan to Erika, McKenna and Landen Richardson and Harper and Hadleigh Fraser. Loved daughter of Velma and the late Harry Coles. Dear sister of George (Jean), Judy (Steve Dobec) and Cindy (Mike Smiley) and sister-in-law of Ray (Patsy). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and special friend, Neil Elliott. Joan was a dedicated and hard working nurse at Pontiac Community Hospital for over 35 years. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Service will follow in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
