Obituary of Helena Bretzlaff

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Elisabeth Bruyere Continuing Care Hospital, Ottawa, ON. Beloved wife of the late Theo Bretzlaff. Predeceased by an infant son, Lester, and parents Rudolph Schroeder and Alvina Feierabend. Survived by loving children Willard (Katherine) and Connie (Richard Doyle). Special Grandmother of David (Charmaine) Bretzlaff and Steven (Jessica) Bretzlaff and Great Grandmother to Nathan, Jocelyn, Lily-May and Charles. Predeceased by sisters Louisa (late Gustave Bretzlaff) and Olga (late Delbert Peck) and brothers Leo (Annie), Rudy (Thelma) and Charlie (late Grace). Survived by stepsisters Freida (Elburne Bean) and Ola (late Roderick Telford) and stepbrother Edward Tanner (Shirley). Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Schwartz, Quebec.
