Obituary of Alma Dahms

Alma Marie DAHMS September 3, 1925 – October 23, 2012 Alma passed away quietly on October 23, 2012 in the Long Term Unit of the Shawville Hospital at the age of 87 years holding the hand of her caregiver and friend, Joyce. Beloved wife of the late Louis Ernest Carl Dahms and daughter of the late Edward Thoms and his wife Johanna Steinke. She leaves two sisters; Lydia (late Arthur Preston) of Edwards, Ontario and Thelma (late Rudy Schroeder) of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. Also survived by four nieces & nephews and their families. Hayes and Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral on Friday, October 26, 2012 to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ladysmith, Quebec for Service at 3:00 p.m. Interment St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
