Obituary of Lois Cartman

Peacefully with Robert and Donna by her side, Lois made her departure and arrived safely at the feet of Jesus on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 12:10 p.m. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Cartman and John S. Hodgins. Cherished mother of Robert (Donna). Loving grandmother of Mandy Armstrong (Paul), Virginia Newton, Sarah Casselman (Scott), Annette Hodgins, Tammy Hodgins (Barry Gillard), Robert Hodgins (Yvonne), Doreen Hodgins, Desmond Hodgins (Giselle) and Debra Hodgins. Survived by numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Elson Hodgins (Lola), daughter Bonnie (Earl Newton), brothers Ebert (late Kathleen) and Dalton (Bertie), and sister Ruby (Garnet). A special thanks to the entire Cartman family for their kindness to Mom over the years… Marie, Kelvie, Claire, Rodney and Wesley. Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral Thursday to New Hope Christian Fellowship Church for Service at 1 p.m. Interment Yarm United Cemetery.
