Peacefully in Pontiac Community Hospital - Long Term Care, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the age of 104 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon T. Paul. Loving mother of Donald (Shirley), Norma (the late Robert Abercrombie) and Allan (Milly). Cherished Grandma of Susan, Brenda, Douglas, Dawn, Tom, Tim and Jennifer. Caring great-grandmother of Laura, Sarah, Emily, Abby, Eric, Westin, Lauren, Lindsay, Robert, Carter, Jillian and Paul. Loving sister of Ruth (Norris Smiley). Predeceased by siblings Kathleen Hodgins, Erma Biesenthal, Blanche Hodgins, and Glenn Hodgins. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Amy was a long time active member of Shawville United Church, UCW and Thrift Shop. Friends may call at W. J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday to Shawville United Church for service at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
