Obituary of Marion McTiernan

After a difficult battle, it is with sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late William McTiernan. Loving Momma of David, Carolyn (Denis Lecompte), Margaret (Dino Frois) and Connie (Victor Godin). Cherished grandmother of Sherry (Darrell), Crystal (Danny), Derek (Lynda), Curtis (Jen), Lee (Karen), Shawn (Zac) and Jesse (Amber). Great nanny of Autumn, Hunter, Roman, Allyena, Abby, Kylie, Katie, Audrey, William, Miguel, Alexander & Christopher. Dear sister of Ethel, Edgar, Arnold (Florence), Elwin (Marie) & Jim (Shirley). Predeceased by her sisters Ruth (late Gary Cooke), Katie (late Alex Murray) & her brother George (Esther). Survived by many nieces & nephews. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness & generosity and was loved by all. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Team (5B) at the Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital for the kind & gentle care she received. Thanks also go to Dr. Faught, Dr. Lefebvre & Dr. Chambers & all the wonderful doctors at Elizabeth Bruyère who assisted with Mom’s care. Friends may call at W.J. Funeral to St. George’s Anglican Church, Campbell’s Bay for Service at 1 p.m. Interment St. George’s Cemetery.
