Obituary of Brent Young

Retired – National Research Council With sadness the family announces the passing of Brent on Wednesday, February 8 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Schock and much loved and loving father of Kara (Christopher Provost), Jillian, and Luke (Amanda Belanger). Brent was the cherished “Grandpa” of Caden and Danica Provost. He was the dear brother of Claude (Birdie), the late Graham (Doris), Ralph (Nancy), Reid, Mona (Laurie MacKechnie), the late Erna (late Ken Davis), and Garry (Brenda). Brent was the fond brother-in-law of Elson Schock (Nora), Linda Lucas (Paul), and Marion Draper (Eric). He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon St., Quyon, Quebec on Monday, February 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will be no visitation on service day. Funeral service Tuesday, February 14 in Quyon United Church at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy donations to Quyon United Church or Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
