Obituary of Rose Lang

Born September 13, 1909, in Sittingbourne, Kent, England, Rose passed away peacefully at LaSalle, Quebec, on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at the age of 102. Rose immigrated to Canada at age 3, with her family. She grew up in Rosemount, Quebec, being very active in St. Luke's Anglican Church and choir. Through her life, working alongside her husband, Cyrus, in service to the Anglican Church, Rose lived in Athabasca, Alberta, Lachute, Ste. Agathe, Two Mountains, Saint Laurent, and lived-out her last year in good health and actively, in LaSalle. Loving and devoted wife of 69 years to the late Reverend Canon Robert Cyrus Lang. Loving and dear mother of Iris (Ronald Hillman), Muriel (Forde), Peter (Claudette). Cherished grandmother of Catherine, Peter (Kim), Tammalyn (Richard), Michael (Melinda), Patrick, Jason (Heather), Travis and Treena (Jeremy). Loving great-grandmother of Maya, Brian, Alec, Audrey, Tanner, Gavin, Makenna, Madison, Jacob, Owen, Shea. Rose is survived, and will be sadly missed, by her sister, Madge Edmondson and brother, William "Bill" Russell (Thérèse). Sister of the late Ellen "Nelly" Dapp, Iris Sewell, and Grace Overall. Also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Margaret Lang (the late Lawrence) of Shawville, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at W. J.
