Obituary of Elsie MacLachlan

Passed away peacefully in Palliative Care at the Shawville hospital on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the age of 89. Elsie was born in Westport, Nova Scotia to the late Harry and Nellie MacDormand. She was working in Halifax when she met the love of her life Bill MacLachlan. Bill passed away in April 1987. Beloved Mother of Bill MacLachlan Jr (Judy), Janice MacLachlan Buckle (Cameron) and Carole MacLachlan Richardson (Warnie). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Kate and Leanne MacLachlan and Connor, Maclachlan and Brennan Richardson. Elsie was predeceased by her sisters Blanche, Dorma and Lena and brothers Ebby and Leland and is survived by her sister Muriel and brother Robert (Bobby). She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Thanks to Ken and Gwen Wentworth for their friendship and support over the years. Thanks also to the many friends who went out of their way to visit and support Elsie and the family over the past months. Much appreciation to Dr Pinello and the staff in Palliative Care for their kindness and support. Friends may call at W.J.
