Obituary of Jeannette Bertrand

On August 25, 2016, Jeannette passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 46 years to Claude Bertrand. Loving mother to Julie (Robert Bertrand), Suzanne (John Walsh) and Roxanne (Gerry Kluke). Predeceased by parents Aurèle Plante and Pauline Denis, brothers Raymond Plante (Marion) and Jacques Plante (Mary). Cherished sister of Gilles and Susann Plante of St Catherines, On and Guy and Linda Plante and Gisele and Yvan Bonneau of Port Colborne, On. Proud Grandma of Sarah (Serge Mousseau), Lacy (Ben Fargey), Tiffany (Troy Street), Tyler, Tianna (Mike O’Connell), Matt (Rachel Emmerson), Eric and Ben (Stephanie Jolin). Dearest Great-Grandma of Emma, Evelyn, Lou, Brianna, Piper, Carter and Isabella.She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The Family extends a special thank you to staff of the Shawville and Hull Hospitals. A funeral mass will be held in St Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 16 Church Rd, Vinton , PQ on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2pm. Reception to follow at Parish House (next to the Church). Jeannette took pride in her cooking and never let anyone go hungry. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
