Obituary of David Thompson

Our brother, uncle, cousin and friend, David Thompson was called to a more peaceful place on Sunday August 14, 2016. Dave always had an awaiting chair to sit and chat A home cooked meal blessed with his chef's hat. A caring home for the many furry companions throughout the years A loving hand to keep them safe and near. No longer can we hold Dave's hand but in our hearts The memories we created together will never part. Survived by his brother Doug (Cathy), sister Julie (Clif MacDonald), nephew Donavon, nieces Rebecca, Candice, Sydnie and Danyca. He was also a great uncle and dear friend to many. Pre-deceased by his parents Clarence and Marjorie (McCredie) and sister Shirley (Gauthier). A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.. An Irish wake to follow at Dave's home in Norway Bay. All are welcome. In tribute to Dave's green thumb the family would appreciate a small rose bush be planted at his home.
