Loving father of Anne (Richard Armitage) and Peter (Brenda). Loving Grandpa of Joshua Armitage (Amanda), Kyle Ferguson (Lauren) and Nicholas Sparling. Dear brother of Myrland Sparling (Mabel) and Ruby (late Osborne Belsher), Gladys (Allan Johnston), sister-in-law Marie Sparling and predeceased by Clinton (late Viola), Marshal (late Lois), Clarence (late Faye).
