Obituary of Gordon Smith

Passed away peacefully into Glory at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with his daughter by his side on May 4, 2016 in his 89th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Dorothy (nee Smith) and loving father of Ann (Wayne Koch) of Point Clark, Ontario, Jennifer and Ruth both of Kanata, Ontario and Glenn (Sharon) of Marionville, Ontario. Cherished Grandpa to Rachel, Eric and Caleb Smith. Predeceased by grandson Andrew Smith. Dear brother of Jean Mackey of Toronto and predeceased by brothers Ronald, Eric and Keith. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Metropolitan Bible Church, 2176 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa on Thursday May 12, 2016 at 11:00 am. A time of fellowship will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to The Gideons, Peoples Church of Montreal or the Metropolitan Bible Church would be appreciated.
