Obituary of Yvonne Hamelin

Passed away peacefully at the Manoir Sacré-Coeur, Mansfield, Quebec on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age of 100 years. Yvonne was one of 18 children; 7 half brothers and sisters, 11 children born to the late Elie Gervais and late Laura Duval. Beloved wife of the late Prosper Hamelin. Loving mother of Lillian (Garry Harrington), Lucien (Esther), Gerard (Gisèle) and Fern (Pat). Predeceased by her daughters; Lucille (Gilles Lacourse) and Gabrielle (Jackie Bertrand), her grandson; Peter and by many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Yvonne will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment parish cemetery. Donations to the Manoir Sacré-Coeur would be gratefully appreciated.
