Obituary of Jean Ebert

Jean passed away on March 27 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92 years. She was first loved by her parents Ervine Crawford and Myrtle Peever. Predeceased by her husband James Ebert and her son Dale and will be forever missed by her daughters, Susan (Terry Knox) and Janie (Jacques Mousseau). Loving Granny to Shawn Mousseau (Caroline), Sara Knox, Ryan Mousseau (Lynn) and Ashley Mousseau (Stephane). Dear Great Granny to Paige, Patrick, Zoé, Emma and Mathis Mousseau. Jean was the eldest of seven siblings, predeceased by Beulah (Lawrence Reid), Leonard, David (Marion) and Myles Crawford, leaving to mourn, James (Noëlla) and Dale (Wendy). Special Aunt to Lloyd Crawford and many nieces and nephews. Born a true country girl, Jean spent her life nurturing and caring for others. Her family was very important to her and we are so blessed to have had her for all the time she was with us. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at which time a funeral service will take place in the Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Interment St. Andrew’s United Cemetery in the Spring. Donations to the Free Methodist Church, Campbell’s Bay or St. Andrew’s United Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay would be appreciated.
