Obituary of Carl Ostrom

Passed away peacefully in Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec on March 21, 2016 in his 85th year. Born in Calumet Island, Quebec on October 7, 1931. Beloved husband for 64 years of Alice Lepine. Loving father of Barbara (late Lindsay Stewart), Brian (Ruth), Ronald (Marie-Ange) and David (Bonnie). He will be missed by dear family friend, Shirley Gravelle. Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings Lloyd (late Jean), Asa (Madeline), Donald, Daisy (late Norman Wallace), Ethel (Currie Oates) and Inez (late Elwood Maheral). Dear brother-in-law of Madeline (late Asa), Leonard (late June), Helen (Bob Cote), Frances (Jim Charbonneau), Veronica (Mansel Hawkins), Joan (Gary Schmidt), Anita (late Ken Miller) and Gail (John Ouellette). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. There will be no service at the present time. Thank you to the caring staff of Pontiac Reception Centre for the wonderful care Carl received in the final years of his life.
