Gran,
Thank you for your strength, your wonderful heart, your love, and your humour. All of these beautiful attributes run deep in the family, because of you. I am thankful for you, my gran. And I will forever hold you, and the memories we have shared in this lifetime,close to my heart. I know that you will always be watching over us, laughing with us, crying with us and keeping us moving onward. My gran, saying goodbye is never easy. And so I will say, until we meet again.

Writing a small note regarding someones life in a spur of the moment is always difficult, especially someone who Ive known for the past 38 years. There have been so many memories I have been left with it its difficult to draw on any particular moment. Many an hour has been spent at the round kitchen table with various characters coming and going. Annette was the commander in chief.. Nothing ever got by her attentive ears. I cant thank this wonderful woman enough for all that she has given me.. A true angel.
I know I have very fond memories that will be permanent. Whenever I hear Johnny cash or Wilf Carter, I will always see Annettes fingers and toes tapping to the melody at the kitchen table.
May she soar with the angles. Rest in Peace

Dearest french grandma,
Although we can no longer listen to your voice, we still hear you in our thoughts.
Although we can no longer see you present, we still see you in our dreams.
Although we can no longer touch your hand or hug you, we still feel you in our hearts.
We were separated by distance our whole lives, but we never felt far from you. Grandma, you may have moved on to a better place, but this is not Goodbye as you will never leave our thoughts.
