Obituary of Mary Tubman

Peacefully in Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Albert Tubman. Wonderful mother of Gloria (Joe Rodgers), Brian (Margaret) and Susan (Rick Cummings). Proud Nannie of William, Janice, Barry, Keith, Thomas, Jacob, Maryse, Abigail, Amelia, Theodore, and Leah. Sister of Byron (Elaine), Shirley (late Stan Munro), Basil (Lorraine), and Julia (Bev Cluff). Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Annie Hodgins and siblings Grenville (late Nat), Lillas (late Kenneth Armitage), Phyllis (late Dalton Twolan) and Fern (late Harvey Smith). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. A dear friend of the Ardern family and all who knew her. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Thursday, October 15, 2015 to Shawville United Church for service at 11:30 a.m. Interment Village Cemetery.
