Obituary of Andy Devine

Life Legacy Suddenly, after a brief illness, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on August 10, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Claire Dagenais. Dear son of Daisy and the late Dalton Devine and stepson of the late Earl Devine. Loving stepfather of Anne (Trevor Stevens) and Sylvie Chevalier-Moore. Cherished Grandpa of Amanda, Chelsea, Hayden and Rylie. Dear son-in-law of Aldea and the late Edgar Dagenais. Caring brother of Linden Devine (Darlene), Shirley (Richard Roy) and Earleen Devine (Jim Stark). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Andy enjoyed fishing, playing music during his weekly jam sessions and his many excursions with Claire, family and friends. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, August 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery. A luncheon will be served in the funeral home following the interment.
