Obituary of Mildred McGuire

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Alban McGuire. Loving mother of Marilyn (Ron Tanguay), Des (Diane Burns), Dorothy (Brian Akitt), John (Sharmaine Greene) and Leo (Cathy Von Boetticher). Daughter of the late Harry Foran and Annie Hickey. Sister of Dominic, Clement, Loretta O’Reilly and Mae McCann and predeceased by brothers Vincent, Michael, Ambrose, Leo and Donald and sister Gladys. Loving grandmother of Trevor (Leanne) and Jeffrey (Leona) Tanguay, Maygan (Martin Couillard), Alexis and Dana McGuire, Melanie and Aaron (Erin) Akitt and Mason and Kelsey McGuire. Dear great - grandmother of Monica & Justine Tanguay, Walter Akitt and Benjamin Couillard. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Vinton, Quebec at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Friends of St. Joseph Manor, Manoir Sacre Coeur or the St. Elizabeth’s Steeple Fund would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Joseph’s Manor, Manoir Sacre Coeur and the Pontiac Reception Centre for the excellent care she received.
