I am sorry to hear Aunt Audrey has passed away. I remember playing at the house with the girls and having lots of fun together. Aunt Audrey was sweet and kind, and we always had a nice snack together whenever we went to the house and she made us feel welcome and grown up!

Please accept our deepest sympathy. I will always remember visiting Aunt Audrey and Uncle Buddy on summer vacation, when we were kids.
Aunt Audrey was always very kind and gracious and was genuinely happy to let us play. She always made sure to feed us and always had time for a cup tea. I hope you find comfort knowing she and Uncle Buddy are now together again.

Little Audrey
That's what I called her. Not becuase she was small because I thought she was too "big" for me to handle. She was bigger than life really. She was very "real", bigger than I experienced other people to be because she would reveal the real person within her. I loved her dearly and she will always live in my heart.

I loved Aunt Audrey for many reasons, but most of all because I knew she always loved me. I now live near Renfrew, and sometimes I would meet Audrey when she came shopping. She was always dressed and made up as if she was going to meet the Queen. I only recently realized that is was ME - or any of US - that she was prepared to meet: with her special grace and charm.
I also would pay $100 for one of the Roly-Polies that she used to make for me and Mary when I would sneak over from McDowell School to Sunnyside at lunch!
My life has been enriched by my wonderful aunt.

I am so sorry for your loss, Mary, Patti, Bill, John & Jane.
My memories of Audrey are of when Mare and I used to run through the house as kids. I specifically remember one time when Mary was skateboarding downstairs in the family room and I thought I would give it a try... resulting in a hole in the wall the size of ... a skateboard. We moved a chair in front of the hole, thinking it would never be found. Audrey was too sweet to give me hell over it... whew!

Doug and I visited Bud and Audrey in their kitchen in 1982 to get the combination to Bell's Lake. Bud had a great time "giving us the gears" but Audrey came to our defence. We survived the situation and enjoyed a glass of juice and some cookies before our departure. I think of this visit each time I arrive at Bell's Lake.

So sorry to hear of Bubba's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I have many great memories of Bubba and I truly don't think I ever drank tea as a teenager anywhere but her house!
