Obituary of John Chisholm

Life Legacy It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of John on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the age of 77 years. John was vacationing in Cuba with family and friends, an activity that brought him great joy. John is the beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Hogan (1993) and proud father of Maureen Chisholm (Paul Van Remortel) and Jennifer Chisholm. Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Sophie and Cole Van Remortel. John is survived by his brothers Alex and Bernard and sisters Mary Bulmer, Coline Chisholm and Ann Peralta. John is preceded in death by his parents John A. and Marcella Chisholm and brother Duncan. John will be greatly missed by extended family, friends and former colleagues. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, March 27, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral Friday to Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
