Obituary of Richard Gray

Richard W. Gray A much loved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Richard Gray, 71, of Beachburg, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Ottawa Heart Institute. He was the dearly beloved husband of Connie for 43 years, devoted father to Leanne (Steve Gilpin) and Valerie (Chance Dake) and loving “Pa” (grandfather) to Ryan and Connor Gilpin. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Karen and Susan (Jim O’Leary) and brothers Leonard (Carol) and Garnet (Ann) and his extended family. Richard will be fondly remembered for his years of dedication to church ministry (as a pastor), his sense of humour, and his love for people. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, February 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 209 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec. Donations in Richard’s memory can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or to the Beachburg Pentecostal Church.
