Obituary of John McKittrick

John Arthur McKittrick Jan. 24, 1949-Jan. 10, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much loved John. He was the beloved son of the late Edward McKittrick and Patricia Ogilvie, formerly of Carleton Place, Ontario. He was the dear father of Lorie and a very special companion to his dog Odie and cat Fluffy. John made his life most recently in Quyon, Quebec where he was surrounded by a loving and supportive community of close friends. John was a proud member and served on the Executive Committee of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 231 in Quyon. John volunteered many hours working as our bartender and will always be remembered for his quick wit and comradeship. He will be greatly missed by all, especially his dear friend, Ron Trudeau. His charismatic nature and kind soul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of John’s life will take place on January 24th at 2:00 P.M. at the Quyon Legion. ---He has made his daughter proud---
