I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Miss Malette, one of my teachers from Clarendon 12B in Charteris. .I was lucky to turn 6 years old in May(while she was teaching} & I was allowed to go to school for the 2 remaining months of that term. .I remember Miss Malette as a kind & beautiful teacher .One memory that stands out in my mind is the year-end picnic under a large pine tree about a mile from the school.
And ,of course, we all walked . I have a picture taken of her & her 14 pupils in 1947 .We were fortunate to have her attend a school reunion several years ago . A lot of good memories. Rest in Peace, You will not be forgotten
