Obituary of Dennis James Bennett
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis James Bennett on July 12, 2024 at the age of 69. He was the beloved father of Tyler Bennett, cherished brother of John (Carole Chartrand), Betty (Fernand Chartrand), Mary Theresa and Joseph (Betty Hickey). Predeceased by his parents Joseph Bennett and Mary Law, his brother Ronald Bennett, sister Grace Bennett and his niece Christina Emmerson. He will be dearly missed by his loving godchild Crystal Chartrand, his many nieces, nephews and his dearly beloved friends.
In his younger days you could find Dennis playing in bands all around Ottawa and the Pontiac or out on the golf course perfecting his swing. Dennis had such a great ear for music that he took his hand at being an amateur luthier making himself a fiddle.
